Anxiety Therapy for Women in California

When your mind keeps replaying conversations, anticipating problems, or asking whether you did enough, it can be hard to feel settled even during a quiet moment. You may keep up with work and relationships while carrying worry, tension, or the pressure to get everything right.

I’m Eunice Lim, LMFT, ATR. I offer online therapy for women throughout California, with space to understand your anxiety and practice responding to it in ways that fit your life.

When overthinking takes up too much space

Anxiety may show up as second-guessing decisions, needing reassurance, avoiding something important, or feeling unable to switch off. You might notice a tight jaw, shallow breathing, or an urge to stay busy. We can explore what happens before, during, and after these moments, including the demands and relationships that keep the worry going.

How I help with anxiety

We begin with what feels most difficult now and what you want to change. Together, we can identify familiar worry loops, explore the expectations underneath them, and find ways to pause before anxiety makes the decision for you.

With IFS-informed parts work, we might get curious about a part of you that checks everything or prepares for the worst. Understanding what it fears can help us respond with more choice and less self-criticism. We don’t have to assume every worry comes from the past. Your current circumstances matter too.

Art therapy offers another way to explore what is happening. You might draw the shape of your worry, use color to show where you feel tension, or make an image of what support would look like. You decide what the artwork means. No art experience is needed.

We may also use grounding, body awareness, guided imagery, or EMDR-informed resourcing to explore what helps you feel more present. We choose these practices together and adjust if something doesn’t feel helpful.

What we might work toward

Your goals might include making decisions with less checking, resting without immediately returning to a task, speaking up about a need, or recognizing anxiety before it takes over your day. We’ll return to your goals and notice what is changing in everyday life.

What online sessions are like

Sessions are collaborative and can include conversation, art, or a combination. You can use simple materials you already have, and you can decline any invitation. Christian faith integration is available only at your request.
